At the heart of Turnt Airhorns are the airhorns themselves, which were sourced from the finest retailers on the internet. All-in-all twelve airhorns of various sizes and designs were painstakingly recorded for optimal character and tonal variations.
Sonic Armory Turnt Airhorns was recorded and engineered at the internationally famous Crystalworks studio in North Hollywood, California in their b-room, known for it’s vibe and the reflections off classic synths and modern studio gear.  Throughout this process we also recruited renown airhorn expert Donald “DJ Turnt” Turner, (aka “tha’ airhorn Don”), who is known for his critical sampling techniques and innovative recording styles.
